Why we built Simpledot: ending AI subscription overload

Why we built Simpledot: ending AI subscription overload

A year ago, our team was paying for four different AI subscriptions. One tool was great at code, another at long-form writing, a third at research, and a fourth produced the best images. Every day started with the same silent question: which tab do I open for this task?

The hidden cost of choice

The real cost wasn't the combined subscription bill — it was the constant, low-grade decision fatigue. Pick the wrong model and you get a mediocre answer, so you re-ask somewhere else, compare outputs by hand, and lose ten minutes on a task that should have taken one. Multiply that across a team and it becomes a real productivity tax.

We also noticed something else: model quality is not static. A model that leads on coding this month may fall behind next month. Keeping up with leaderboards is a part-time job nobody signed up for.

One prompt, every model, one answer

Simpledot flips the problem. You ask once, and we send your request to 50+ leading models at the same time. A judge system scores every response for accuracy, completeness, and clarity — then shows you only the winner. You never have to know or care which model is best today, because the platform checks on every single request.

The result is simple: one subscription, one input box, and consistently the strongest answer available anywhere. That's the product we wanted for ourselves, and now it's the product we're building for everyone.
