We've made Simpledot cheaper to start, faster to talk to, and smarter at understanding you. New ₹49 Starter and ₹99 Plus plans, a quicker and more capable Vaani voice assistant that can now set timers and play music, and a free plan that finally shows off the full multi-AI comparison.
Simpledot exists to give you the single best AI answer without making you pay for, or choose between, five different tools. This update pushes hard on that promise in three directions: price, speed, and understanding. Here is everything that changed and why.
New, genuinely affordable plans: ₹49 Starter and ₹99 Plus
Until now the jump from the free plan to a paid one was a big one. We've fixed that with two new entry plans priced for real everyday use in India. Starter is ₹49 per month and gives you 10 questions a day (more than triple the free plan), unlocks image generation, and includes 10 Vaani voice answers a day. Plus is ₹99 per month — about ₹3 a day — and unlocks the thing Simpledot is famous for: your question goes to GPT, Claude and Gemini at the same time, they compete, and a judge hands you the winning answer. Plus includes 20 questions and 20 voice answers a day.
Our existing plans got better too. Pro (₹399/month) now includes 50 questions a day and Premium (₹999/month) now includes 100, so every step up is a clear, meaningful upgrade. All prices are in rupees, GST is included, and you can cancel anytime. There are annual options that effectively give you around two months free.
The free plan now shows you the real magic
Previously, most people on the free plan only saw a single AI's answer and never experienced the multi-model comparison that makes Simpledot special. That was a mistake on our part. Now every genuine question on the free plan gets the full treatment — multiple leading models answer, and the judge picks the best — so you can actually feel the difference before deciding to upgrade. Simple greetings like 'hello' are handled instantly and efficiently, so nothing is wasted.
Vaani, our voice assistant, is faster and can actually do things
Vaani is the voice side of Simpledot — you speak, she answers, in Hindi, Hinglish or English. This update makes her noticeably quicker to respond, so conversations feel natural instead of laggy, and we rebuilt her audio so her voice is clear and smooth rather than distorted or crackly.
More importantly, Vaani can now take real actions instead of just talking. Ask her to set a timer ('10 minute ka timer laga do') and a real countdown runs and rings when it's done. Ask her to play a song or video and she opens it on YouTube for you. And she's now aware of the chat on your screen — you can ask her to read out, explain or continue an answer you're looking at, and she can even drop a written reply straight into your text chat when something is better read than heard.
Vaani also understands you better now. She listens more accurately across Hindi, Marathi and mixed languages, and if she isn't sure what you meant, she'll politely ask a quick clarifying question instead of guessing and answering the wrong thing.
Smarter behind the scenes, cheaper to run
We also improved how Simpledot routes your question to the right model. Trivial messages no longer trigger the full, expensive multi-model comparison, while real questions still get the complete competition. This keeps the service fast and sustainable — which is exactly what lets us offer plans as low as ₹49.

What happened to the Starter and Plus plans?
Starter (₹49) and Plus (₹99) were introductory plans. They are no longer sold to new users, but anyone who subscribed keeps their plan and its limits until they cancel. New users start free and can upgrade to Pro (₹399), Premium (₹999) or Elite (₹4,999).
